“The abstract art that I do and desire to make are simple interpretations of what is in my mind and what I see around me. Sometimes these two things are not the same, making for a contrast between what I see and what is real in my mind. often resulting in a blend of linear and organized mixed with cloudy and random. Lines, shapes, and color are the vehicles that enable these interpretations to be expressed using a variety of mediums, such as acrylic, ink, watercolor, and oil.
Painting has been a part of my life for many years and I feel that with the beauty in our minds and the visions that we experience, it makes for a perfect scenario to express these in a way to remember. ”
